On Sept. 29, 2004, after a heart rending decision, Rory and his wife Linda walked away from the church they helped to found in 1993. Rory was seeing and reading things in the New Testament that simply did not square with what he and many others had accepted without question for many years as they obeyed "them that had the rule over them". They fit the typical middle of the road Christian role model of the sincere, loyal, church going family for 24 years but felt they had to leave the church in order to find God. What they found was the church had left God. God has given Rory a gift and calling for writing, and he operates in several of the Holy Spirit gifts: healing, Word of Knowledge, and interpretation of dreams as God enables. As the Lord leads and inspires him to write he posts article here on his website. He also recognizes the urgency for God's people to forsake the kingdoms of men and "come out from among them saith the Lord", that is, from the apostate, powerless, religious instituions of men.
